eridan is kind of in the same boat but he isn’t afraid to be affectionate, i think thats the biggest difference?? eridan just… feels really comfortable with karkat so being physically affectionate is really easy for him. his biggest fear would probably be that karkat doesn’t like him as much as he loves him (TOO MANY “HIM”S UGHHGHHGH)

and then one of them—usually eridan—will say something to ruin the moment like, when theyre cuddling, eridan will say something like “hey kar did you knoww nep has equ and a pony up on her shippin wwall” and karkat just looks at him like WHY THE FUCK WOULD I EVER NEED TO KNOW THAT.
